Sónar+D 2026: Explore the Future of Technology and Creativity in Barcelona
Barcelona’s innovation hub Sónar+D returns for its 14th edition on 18–19 June 2026 at the historic Llotja de Mar, inviting audiences to shift from passive consumption of technology to active engagement. This year’s programme places humans at the centre of an increasingly automated world, blending digital culture, AI, and creative experimentation.
Organised around three core themes—AI & Music, Beyond the Screen, and Digital Gardens and Dark Forests—Sónar+D 2026 offers talks, panels, workshops, performances, exhibitions, and community-led activations across multiple spaces within the 800-year-old Llotja de Mar. Highlights include performances by Evicshen, Fitnesss & Riusforza, Dadabots, and Shoeg, as well as AI-powered collaborations such as Catalan pianist Ignasi Terraza duetting with AI systems.
The programme features renowned speakers and artists including Daito Manabe, François Pachet, Nao Tokui, Anna Xambó, Magda Polo, Joana Moll, Yancey Strickler, and more. Workshops and exhibitions explore speculative futures, generative art, robotics, interactive installations, and immersive experiences, including works by Arts Korea Lab, Superbe, and Volvox Labs. For the first time, Sónar+D extends to Fira Gran Via, complementing the main Sónar 2026 festival.
Tickets are available as standalone or combined SonarPass+D, including 2-Day and Day Tickets for Llotja de Mar access, with shuttle services connecting to Sónar at Fira Gran Via.
