JACQUES GREENE RETURNS ALONGSIDE UMRU FOR NEW SINGLE “WHAT YOU SAY”
MAY 13, 2026—Jacques Greene returns with “What You Say,” his first solo single in three years, out now via LUCKYME®. Featuring fellow labelmate umru, the track marks a sharp new club-focused chapter from Greene.
A complete synthesis of both artists’ worlds, “What You Say” lands as an ice-cold, shimmering dancefloor belter. “Working with umru seems to follow a certain pattern,” says Jacques Greene. “He comes to the studio in Montreal, the track materializes out of thin air as quickly as we can keep up, and the results ignite inspiration in me for months to come. ‘What You Say’ was made in my studio last year, and it has stayed with me as a lightning bolt on my hard drive. Freshhhhh energy into 2026.”
The new single was mixed by Hessle Audio co-founder Pearson Sound, whose credits include Elkka and Fred again.., and mastered by Joker, the dubstep heavyweight known for work alongside Skrillex.
