Following earlier releases like ‘The Other Side,’ ‘Down For The Night,’ ‘Dale,’ and ‘Energy,’ the track further expands the album’s emotional and sonic landscape.
Built for late-night dancefloors, ‘Obsessed’ leans on a relentless house pulse with tightly wound percussion and a rolling low-end. A hypnotic rhythm underpins a sleek melodic topline, delivering lift without softening its bite. German-born and London-based, Chris Avantgarde (Christian Vornweg) merges classical composition with cutting-edge electronic production. A classically and jazz-trained multi-instrumentalist, he brings structural discipline and emotional depth into the club context, earning placements in film, television, fashion, and gaming, as well as an ASCAP “Synch of the Year” Award.
Fresh off a standout 2025 featuring performances at Ultra, EDC, and Tomorrowland alongside Adam Beyer, Enrico Sangiuliano, Kevin de Vries, and Massano, Chris Avantgarde returns to the U.S. with headline shows, including Miami Music Week, plus stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, Austin, and Toronto.
