With ‘Step On It’, EDDIE drops straight into a stark, underground setting, built on abrasive textures, pounding low-end, and a polarizing tonal palette. Distorted synth work and slinking rhythms rumble beneath cybertronic vocal interjections and understated builds. It’s a tightly controlled clash of grit and impact, reflecting the kind of unfiltered, late-night environment that inspired the record while reinforcing his connection to HypnoVizion’s dark, contrasting sound.

“‘Step On It’ is a song I started while I was in Europe. I was just imagining this scene in my head the whole time – an underground rave under some abandoned brutalist style bridge in Europe, everything in slow motion, everyone is dancing, not a phone in sight, and we all have this indescribable euphoric feeling. Flashing lights and the crowd just matching this vibe of high fashion meets brutalism…so yeah that’s what my brain was thinking when this song was conceived, but anyways I hope you also enjoy illegal or legal raves + watching fashion week to this song.” – EDDIE
