Ely Oaks Is Back On Smash The House With Heavy Hitting Dance Track, ‘Impossible’
Ely Oaks returns to the Smash The House label with his new track ‘Impossible’, a rework of James Arthur’s hit song ‘Impossible’. The track delves into a different type of euphoria, one that leans more to the period after heartbreak and feeling stronger, echoed by the fast pace of the song and the bass lines.
‘Impossible’ starts with soaring synthesisers provoking intense emotions adjacent to the powerful lyrical setting. The hard techno drumbeat and buzzing bassline evoke a need to dance through the worst of feelings. The use of reverbing hi-hats and a wishful arpeggiator creates a sense of loss juxtaposed beat the rolling beat that drives the audience to move on.
Ely Oaks is an emerging producer and DJ from Austria, now based in Berlin. He’s cemented his place in the EDM world with his hit tracks ‘Running Around’ and ‘Borderline’ and collaborations with the likes of Alok, Timmy Trumpet and LAVINIA, along with remixes for Marshmello, Nate Dogg and IN PARALLEL. Ely has made a significant mark in the live music scene, performing at iconic venues such as Ushuaïa in Ibiza and prominent festivals like Ultra in Australia.
